KOLONSPORT's particle-level pop-up
In January, KOLONSPORT ran a three-day flash space in Shanghai’s Jing’an District called “K: PARTICLE,” tied to its SS2026 line.
The pop-up presents a conceptual link to nature ...going beyond images of trees, rocks and natural surfaces. It focuses at a molecular level of experience with light, airflow, mist, and the “particles / micro-energy of nature.”
Its a novel interpretation and link to nature. And the design feels Korean-inspired, drawing a link to the brand heritage.

From a brand standpoint, it’s about positioning KOLONSPORT at the intersection of nature and future tech, aimed at elevating the label from functional sportswear toward design-led outdoor innovation.
With this positioning, KOLONSPORT seem to be taking aim at the space that Arcteryx occupies, presenting outdoor/performance wear that is really more likely to be used by affluent, urbanites - sleek, cool, minimalist, future-forward.

ANTA who operates KOLON in China certainly will have insight into the key consumer trigger-points (by way of its experience with Arcteryx, Salomon..etc). Nevertheless, this space is getting crowded :)
