Outdoor brand Goldwin’s Seoul flagship
Japanese outdoor brand Goldwin has opened its largest global flagship near Dosan Park in Seoul.
The 572 sqm store blends natural materials, stone flooring that flows from outside to inside, and traditional Korean elements like hanji paper doors translating its “Life with Nature” philosophy directly into architecture.
This ties into where the market is headed...
Goldwin - perhaps more than any other brand - represents where 'outdoor wear a luxury' is headed - outdoor tech blended with fashion and minimalism.

The move also highlights an interesting regional dynamic...
In China: Goldwin has been building a network of stores across major cities, treating the market as a key commercial growth engine.

In Korea: the approach is different: a flagship-led presence focused on brand positioning and design credibility.
Seoul increasingly functions as a cultural amplifier for outdoor and lifestyle brands, while China remains the market where scale and growth are pursued.

For Goldwin, the Seoul flagship signals both long-term commitment to Korea and a broader effort to position the brand as a design-led, minimalist interpretation of outdoor culture.
