Dior Does the Hard Thing
Dior's latest brand activity stands out as a bold statement.
They did full recreations of their FW2026 runway from the Jardin des Tuileries ...in four cities, near-simultaneously. High production values and scale are hard in one location ...but doing four, all at once is admirable.
The default playbook is sequential. Build once, install in Shanghai, rotate the set through secondary cities over two months. Its cheaper, easier to execute, with risk managed step-by-step.
BUT ...Dior built all four at once, with site-specific adaptation (eg. Shenzhen Bay's lotus pond mirrored against the Paris basin).

Bravery Is a Brand Signal
The choice to do four, near-simultaneous pop-ups of this scale is the story.

Choosing the harder route calls for admiration. Brands that tackle hard things with marketing (the things that other's cannot easily copy) signal that they apply a similar approach to products, services and other areas of the business.
The difficulty is the message.
