Boucheron's new home in Shanghai
I had the opportunity to stop by and visit the new Boucheron flagship in Shanghai’s Xintiandi over the past few days.
They’ve done really well with both the store design and the location choice, which now anchors a key stretch of Xintiandi.
I’ll admit, I was a bit sad to see the Starbucks gone from that corner — it was the first Starbucks I remember visiting in Shanghai back in the early 2000s. At the time, Starbucks was a client and they still making the first key moves in their China growth story.
For Boucheron, the flagship boutique is the third of it its kind globally, after Paris Place Vendôme and Tokyo Ginza. It's charming design frames the entry to Xintiandi very nicely! .
And thankfully ...for the nostalgic amongst us, Boucheron has green as a key brand colour ....just like Starbucks ;)
